Tips from Tutors

• Play Boggle, Quiddler or Junior Scrabble with your student
• Come to the session with a "toolkit" - scissors, glue stick, 3x5 cards, construction paper, ruler, pencil and eraser, colored markers, scrabble tiles, markers, etc. to create activities on the fly.
• Bring a selection of books to your sessions. If the JCL crate does not have anything that interests you, visit your public library.
