In response to the pandemic and resulting disruptions, we have expanded our community partner network to include child-and family-serving organizations. JCL tutors are able to Zoom in to a range of settings during or after school or tutor children in person as conditions permit.
JCL is proud of its longstanding partnerships with more than 50 Bay Area schools and is always seeking new opportunities to match tutors with students who need reading assistance.
All JCL tutoring services are provided free of charge.
We also work closely with faith-based groups, such as synagogues, Jewish Community Centers, Jewish day schools, and other non-profits to recruit and train tutors, organize book drives and educate the community about our work and the societal inequities that impede learning.
We’d love to expand this network to include religious organizations of all types.
